A composer, arranger, conductor, producer, recording artist, multi-instrumentalist, vocalist and performer - he is currently a sought after Musical Director for network television Movies, Series, and Specials.

In January of 1996, Edgar took the reins as Musical Director of The Nashville Network's flagship program, "Prime Time
Country." He assembled one of the "hottest" bands on TV, the Prime Time Country Band. In addition to his duties as Musical Director, Struble occasionally appeared as a featured artist on the 90 minute show, which aired five days a week.
A recent composing credit was for the Michelle Lee CBS Movie, "Big Dreams and Broken Hearts - The Dottie West Story" produced by Ken Kragen and Buzz Berger. Edgar also served as Music Supervisor and Music Editor on that production, which aired on CBS in January of 1995.
He also composed the score for Kenny Rogers' four-hour CBS Miniseries, "Gambler 5", also produced by Ken Kragen, which aired in October of 1994.
Edgar's association with Kenny Rogers and Ken Kragen goes back fifteen years, when Edgar was hired as Kenny Rogers' Musical Director, From 1979-1991, Edgar toured the world with Rogers' band as Arranger, Conductor, instrumentalist, and back-up vocalist.
During his years with Kenny Rogers' live band, Struble arranged and conducted for the NBC "Tonight Show" Orchestra, Al Hirt, Dottie West, Lynda Carter, Ray Charles, The Oak Ridge Boys, Leon Russell and countless others. Kenny Rogers' "Summer Pops Concerts" were arranged and conducted by Struble, at the helm of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra.

Marriage and family convinced Edgar to leave the road in 1991. Maintaining residences in both Nashville and Los Angeles, Struble has been either Composer, Musical Director, or both on the following programs for Ken Kragen and Kenny Rogers Productions: "MacShayne" on NBC Miniseries Pilot in 1994; "A Day in The Life of Country Music" on CBS Special in 1993; "Rio Diablo" for CBS Movie 1992; "Kenny Rogers: Keep Christmas With You" CBS Special in 1992; "Kenny, Dolly & Willie: Something Inside So Strong," NBC Special in 1989 and "The Kenny Rogers Classic Weekend," TV Specials for ABC and NBC, 1988, 1989, and 1990.
Edgar also acted as Composer and Music Producer on the Nationally Syndicated TV show "The Quiz Kids Challenge", in 1990, produced by Jeff Wald for Guber-Peters, Inc; and on the syndicated cable talk show "Recovery Line."
As a record producer Edgar has produced recordings for Al Hirt, Bobby Hatfield ,of the Righteous Brothers, and for the comedian Gallagher's Showtime TV Specials.
Since his days as front man for many regionally popular rhythm & blues bands, Edgar retains his zeal for live entertaining, and is finally knuckling under to his peers' encouragement to pursue a solo recording career. An accomplished and highly versatile vocalist and instrumentalist - he plays acoustic and electronic keyboards, trombone, harmonica, percussion and guitar - Struble performs regularly in Nashville and other locales.
His live concert, "Edgar Struble and Friends," a vibrant mixture of jazz, rhythm & blues, gospel, and "big band" music, is a popular yearly event in Struble's home state of Michigan.
Edgar's most recent album "Piano Country," a collection of top country hits, performed on acoustic piano, on Simplicity Records, displays his talent not only for playing music beautifully, but for arranging it with style and sensitivity.
Since 1992, Edgar has also been a developer/composer for Kurzweil and Peavey Electronic Keyboard Instruments, and Electronic Keyboard Consultant to Cire Electronics, Plymouth, Michigan.
At home with his wife, Lauri and their daughters, Bethany, Sarah, and ..... , Edgar finds time to pursue lifelong interest in antique collecting woodworking, gardening, fishing, hunting and aviation.
